Architects design buildings that have to serve a purpose. People generally have to live and work in these spaces. Architects have to be analytical
in order to design safe buildings that will stand the test of time. They also are challenged creatively because their clients often want unique and
distinct buildings.
If you want to become and architect, you may want to enroll in one of the many architectural programs throughout the country. Earning a degree in architecture
will take some time. Skilled designers and mathematicians must spend time researching past architectural periods, understanding the construction process,
and creating their own style. Architectural programs prepare students for future apprenticeship and internship programs and help them create their
own design portfolios. These portfolios are used as resumes as graduates look for jobs
